# 4.2 Metric: Game Database Analysis

This metric assesses the platform's utility as a research tool for games, not just operators.

* **Database Size (5 points):** The total number of individual slot games tracked and reviewed by the platform. A small library (<1000 games) offers limited utility. A large, comprehensive database is a significant asset.
  * Benchmark: A score of 5 is awarded for platforms tracking **4,000+** individual game titles.
* **Data Richness (5 points):** The depth of data provided for each game. We look for a dedicated page per game that includes:
  * RTP (Return to Player) percentage.
  * Volatility / Variance level.
  * Software Provider.
  * Key Features (e.g., Free Spins, Megaways, Bonus Game).
  * An embedded demo version for free play.

> **Rationale:** Serious players often choose a platform based on its game selection. A review site that provides a rich, searchable database of games (e.g., allowing users to find all "High Volatility" slots from "Pragmatic Play") serves a critical user need.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://consumer-trust-initiative.gitbook.io/consumer-trust-initiative-docs/4.2-metric-game-database-analysis.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
