# 2.1 Core Principles & Architecture

The TDUX Framework is a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) model. Its architecture is built on four foundational pillars, each representing a critical dimension of a platform's overall quality and trustworthiness.

* **Pillar I: Trust & Transparency (T):** The bedrock of the model. This pillar evaluates the credibility and integrity of the platform itself. It assumes that a trustworthy platform is transparent about its identity, methodology, and data.
* **Pillar II: Data Depth (D):** This pillar measures the substance of the analysis provided. It rewards granularity, comprehensiveness, and the presence of rich, verifiable data over superficial opinions.
* **Pillar III: User Experience (UX):** This pillar assesses the usability and performance of the platform. Superior data is of little value if it is presented in a slow, cluttered, or difficult-to-navigate interface.
* **Pillar IV: X-Factor:** This pillar accounts for unique, high-value differentiators that provide tangible benefits to the user, such as proprietary tools or strong community features.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://consumer-trust-initiative.gitbook.io/consumer-trust-initiative-docs/2.1-core-principles-and-architecture.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
